On September,30,2019 (local time), Mr. Chu Ngoc Anh, Minister of Science and Technology, had a meeting with Mr. Francis Gurry, the General Manager of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). At the meeting, on behalf of Vietnam Government, the Minister submitted document of joining the La Hay Agreement to the WIPO General Manager. Via this adhesion, Vietnam become member of all three treaties about International registration for invents, trademarks, industrial designs managed by WIPO. This adhesion is an important measure to make it more advantageous for Vietnam business environment and contribute to our country’s extensive economic integration.
